Interferential Therapy IFT

Interferential Therapy is a type of electrotherapy used to treat pain. The principle of interference therapy is that two medium frequency currents of slightly different frequencies interfere with each other. A new low-frequency current, called the beat frequency, is equal to the difference in frequency between the two medium-frequency currents produced in the tissues at the point where the two currents intersect.
