Scoliosis

Scoliosis refers to an unnatural curvature of the spine. Deviations are usually 10 degrees or more and have a lateral "S" shape. The most common onset is in adolescence, but the condition can also be present at birth. Scoliosis has visible physical symptoms. Congenital scoliosis can go unrecognized and progress during childhood.
